WHO WE ARE
Formally launched in October 2021, EnterpriseNGR is an independent
professional policy and advocacy group established with the
objective of promoting and advocating for the Financial and
Professional Services (FPS) sector of Nigeria.
Founded by some of the sector's key players, we aim to transform
Nigeria into the premier financial services center in Africa,
improve financial literacy and inclusion, while significantly
impacting the quality of life of Nigerians.
Leveraging the expertise of our members - experienced industry
professionals across various sub-sectors of the Nigerian FPS sector,
we are positioned to harness the country’s inherent economic
potential, developing a strong and resilient economy.
Our flagship initiative, the ‘Youths of Enterprise’, is an
internship programme that aims to recruit and upskill 5,000 interns
annually, matching them with our partner organisations for a
high-value six-month internship. This is the first of many endeavors
in our commitment to building a better Nigeria.

WHAT WE DO
We promote the importance of the FPS sector to
national economic development and strengthen awareness of its
cross-cutting impact on the economy as a whole. We also promote the
interest of our members locally and globally.
We advocate for the sector as one voice, proactively
engaging with policy makers and regulators to influence the
direction of policy initiatives based on strong evidence-based
research and global best practice. We also support regulators in the
process of formulating and implementing optimal policies for the
sector.
We connect our members to high level policy makers and
regulators and facilitate their working together to define issues
and proffer solutions that foster a favourable FPS operating
environment.
We build local and global networks to promote trade
and investment and encourage innovation across all subsectors of the
FPS sector.
We support the development of strong sector operators
and help them to regionalize their businesses across Africa taking
full advantage of the Africa Continental Free Trade Agreement.
We intervene directly in the economy to be the
solution that we advocate for in key priority areas. Our first
intervention is the Youth of Enterprise (YOE) internship program, an
initiative to generate high impact jobs for Nigerian youths.
